The Exhibition module will consist of various parts. The results of the programme will be presented through this on-line platform and potentially through a British Council exhibition concept. Social Responsibility & Design project will naturally be linked to projects by other partners as well as other platforms provided throughout the year such as Design Forum Finland and Helsinki Design Week.

This digital platform, www.responsibledesign.fi, was launched in November 2011. The platform will be maintained throughout the year to exhibit the results and progress of the programme.

It is envisaged that all organisations, individuals, artists and communities produce written as well as video content to ensure the platform becomes an interactive tool for the larger audience. All lectures as well as other resources will be recorded and stored on the website for later access by anyone interested in the programme themes.

A British Council Final exhibition of the Responsible Design project is planned for November 2012 (venue TBC). This exhibition will combine the “produce” of the Responsible Design programme and potentially the Sounds of the City exhibition or other British Council lead product. The Sounds of the City is a BC global product co-created with Mashala and part of the British Council’s Our Shared Europe programme. Sounds of the City helps people re-imagine their city by creating an abstract version of Helsinki, portrayed through an audio visual exhibition.

Other events organised as part of the exhibition module include the high-profile London Olympics 2012 themed seminar on the legacy of urban design, organised in partnership with, amongst others, the British Embassy.
